'Love it mate! Can’t believe you captured so much in such a short time! I think the umbrella of kindness and creativity runs through with all the ways in which that is seen across the school. I've had such great feedback on the film. It's been so popular and we've had two enquiries for places since putting it online last week!'

Oliver Clifford, Head Teacher, Somerleyton Primary School, Norfolk

'I worked with Matt on a short film about the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's First Folio. The film was a co-production between the University of Glasgow, the National Library of Scotland, and the Mount Stuart trust, involving librarians, academics, archivists and conservators. Matt did a fantastic job of bringing together all of these partners. He was highly professional, well-organised, and knowledgeable throughout, asking focused questions that got the best out of each contributor.'

Professor Adrian Streete, Head of English Literature

Deputy Head, School of Critical Studies

'Matt created a fantastic film for us, and he was a complete pleasure to work with from concept to creation. He and the team were wonderful with the school group who were being filmed as part of our project, and we were all delighted with the outcome. Thank you very much for all your help and for your wonderful work!'

COP26 montage, featuring Minga Indigena, Fearless Collective, protest marches, climate activist Aunty Ivy, footage from inside the Blue Zone and more

A montage film made with archival material from the East Anglian Film Archive, mixed with my own footage and sound design.

Editing is a hugely creative process, and it's built on good organisation. I'm methodical and precise, and I always shoot with the edit in mind. This makes collaborative working straightforward, with project sharing and feedback procedures clear and consistent.  Non liner editing (NLE) is a fast evolving world, and I make sure I'm up to date with the latest developments.

I’ve trained through the BBC as an editor, and I'm a competent colourist, having completed Black Magic training in colour grading with Davinci Resolve.

Subtitles are a great tool for making sure everyone can engage with video content. Offering accessibility to deaf viewers, and for social media platforms, where creative, colourful, graphical captions can really catch the eye. I offer transcription and subtitling for all my videos, as well as existing content you may have.

I also work with professional translators, for subtitling or providing voice-over for interviews conducted in other languages, and for translating finished projects. I can team up with offer British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters to offer signing for your video, as well as audio description, for blind and partially sighted audience members.
